The citizens of Harahan in an election held in October 2010 elected Dana Huete to the Harahan City Council. Dana brings the City of Harahan a strong background in Hospital Administration, Management and Budgeting. With her background, Dana offers the citizens of Harahan a fresh face with new ideas and strong leadership. Dana, born and raised in the Harahan area attended St Matthew’s the Apostle grammar school and Archbishop Chapelle High School. She received a B.S. in Nursing from Our Lady of Holy Cross College and will receive a Master’s in Nursing in May of 2011 from Loyola University New Orleans. Dana worked as a staff nurse following graduation but her hard work and dedication quickly moved her into a management position at Tulane University Hospital and Clinic as a Practice Manager.
